Annual General Meeting - Nov 2008 |
|

|
On Tuesday 18th November 2008, Christ Church Students' Union held their Annual General Meeting (AGM).
What is an AGM? All students can attend, speak and vote, hold the Officers to account, view the financial accounts and generally grill the Union about any and all decisions that it has taken in the last 12 months. This is the main chance that you have to really find out what is going on and make sure your Union is open, transparent and accountable.
The AGM can be classed as a success with over 160 students attending and all motions passed. In order to be quorate, the SU needed 100 students in order to pass motions, and to even discuss matters there had to be 50 students, so these targets were exceeded.
A pdf detailing the agenda and the proposed motions can be downloaded from here.
The Union would again like to thank all those who attended. |
