Information on the unit who put women's interests at the heart of Government. The Ministers for Women, supported by the Women and Equality Unit WEU, are responsible for promoting and realising the benefits of diversity in the economy and more widely. This includes taking forward proposals on civil partnerships and the future of our equality bodies. They develop policies relating to gender equality and ensure that work on equality across Government as a whole is co-ordinated.
